Last nite I realized that I forgot that I have another xanga. The other xanga is used for more personal entries and I also created it because this username is getting quiet vexatious! azn?!?! WTF?! oh well... during the time that I created this xanga it was a phase that I was going through! lol. So now I'm going to stop writing in this one and start using the other one. Good-bye azns3nsashi0n.

Midterms are upon us this week and it's absolutely horrid! 2 down and 3 more to go! *deep sigh* I'm ready for whatever the weekend has to offer me. On the other hand, I am looking forward to the upcoming 3 concerts that I already bought tickets for. What can I say? I felt the need to treat myself to some nice rewards after all of these excessive studying that has been driving me absolutely insane! I am eagerly tempted to just go to the 7-eleven and pick me up a box of 27's BUT... I cannot and must not! Afterall, I've gotten this far (2 weeks) without smoking now, so why stop here? I'm very proud of myself. It's extremely difficult but I'm dealing. I'm replacing my nicotine cravings with caffeine. Hmmm? Maybe that is why I'm always up til 3 in the morning! ha.

I had a fairly good weekend. Started on friday night at Beauty Bar for First Friday and I had a great time. Great music, great company, and great everything! haha. Had one too many drinks that I seriously can't remember many, if not, most of the things that happened that nite. Pretty bad! Woke up saturday morning with a really bad headache. My head was throbbing so hard but I still had to get up cause we had a Saosin concert to go to. Saosin was awesome as usual! They are one of my favorite bands of all time! Got to meet Chris Sorenson again but no pictures this time because they didn't allow cameras in at the House of Blues.

I must say how very proud I am that I have decided to quit smoking...even social smoking, which is pretty damn hard! Especially on friday nite where I was tempted to smoke a whole damn pack! It's been 5 days now and I'm sticking to it. No more nicotine for me which is also hard because caffeine and nicotine go together oh-so-well. I am not a morning person and I need a cup of coffee to get me through the day---wait scratch that. I drink about 6 cups of coffee throughout the day! NO JOKE! I guess I'm drinking a lot more caffeine because I'm cutting out the nicotine cravings. That's just great! I guess I picked up another habit. Oh well. I'd rather be drinking caffeine than smoking! Besides, I love coffee!! :]

Today, at work, boredom took ahold of me and gave me a slight inclination to play devil's advocate. So, I've got to commend a co-worker of mine. It takes great courage and wits to withstand ones ground, especially when you have 5 other people who are opposed to your point of views and dispute your each and every reason/explanation/argument, etc. This kid is a bit on the weird side, if you know what I mean. But gosh could he really take a stand and take the blows like a man. We all thought he was just another retarded weirdo, but man did he amazed me! I underestimated him. Religion is one of the most enigmatical and arduous topic to talk about but we are all entitled to our own opinion. In the end, all that counts is how steadfast one is with their own personal beliefs and can defend them with the best of their abilities. Fight for what you believe in!

Even though he stood his grounds pretty well, he started to crumble towards the end! I got him! haha.
I just love playing devil's advocate!
